Jaipur, Sept. 8 -- At least 2,966 rape cases, including 878 of minors, have been registered in Rajasthan in the first six months of 2025, the state government told the legislative assembly.
According to the data provided by the state, in response to questions raised by Congress MLA Shanti Dhariwal, the maximum of 340 rape cases have been lodged in Jaipur followed by 143 in Alwar, 111 in Ajmer, 98 in Bikaner, and 96 in Dholpur. Of the 2,966, police have issued a challan in 1,386 cases while 1,186 cases are subjudice and 392 cases are pending for investigation. The victims have been murdered in 12 cases.htc
