India, April 6 -- A 19-year-old Class 12 student of Bishop's School in Camp area who was riding a two-wheeler, was killed in a road accident near Siddheshwar temple, close to Anandvan gate in the NIBM Annexe, Mohammadwadi area, on Sunday. According to the Kalepadal police, the incident occurred around 5 pm when a speeding water tanker allegedly knocked down the victim, identified as Ariz Shaikh, a resident of Kondhwa who was also a national football player.

The injured youth was rushed to Ruby Hall Clinic, Wanowrie, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
