Dehradun/Guwahati/Mayurbhanj/Varanasi, Sept. 2 -- At least 17 people were killed on Tuesday in separate heavy rain-related incidents across Uttarakhand, Assam and Odisha, while flooding and waterlogging disrupted daily life in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, according to officials in these states. In Uttarakhand, 11 people died as heavy rain triggered landslides, swollen streams and flash currents in several districts across the state.P8
