12 more plants to clean sewage on najafgarh drain

New Delhi, May 24 -- DJB has awarded work for 12 decentralised sewage treatment plants in the Najafgarh area as part of efforts to improve sewage management and clean the Yamuna, said officials. The Najafgarh drain is the single largest contributor of pollution in the Yamuna, accounting for between 60% and 70% of the total wastewater and pollution entering the river.P3
