India, Sept. 4 -- Philosophy can be interesting to read about, but its real value comes when an idea changes the way you live. Some philosophical principles can help you rethink your priorities, handle difficult moments with more calm, and become more intentional about how you spend your time.

You can read about these ideas, discuss them with friends, debate their meaning, and move on with your day. But there is a difference between understanding an idea and actually living by it.
