Thane, Aug. 1 -- At least ten people were killed and three others sustained injuries after a portion of a four-storey building collapsed in Bhiwandi area of Maharashtra's Thane district on Thursday night, officials said.
The building, located in the Narpoli locality, was found to be dangerous and the civic administration sent multiple eviction notices since July 2020 but the owner had allegedly ignored them, officials added. P14
