India, Oct. 25 -- External affairs minister S Jaishankar on Sunday said that a war anywhere in the world poses a threat to peace everywhere, as he raised concerns over the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and West Asia and their impact on countries far removed from the fighting.

Speaking at the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav Global Sammelan in Delhi on the occasion of UN Day, Jaishankar reiterated India's position that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only way to resolve conflicts.

His remarks come against the backdrop of Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine and the conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran in West Asia.
