'Visa revoked mid-flight': 82-year-old Indian woman on Bengaluru-US flight denied entry in Singapore
India, Aug. 14 -- An 82-year-old Indian woman was allegedly barred from boarding her US-bound flight in Singapore after her visa was unexpectedly revoked. Travelling with her American family, the senior citizen had to return to India. The family later discovered through official travel records that she had unknowingly overstayed her previous visit by two days.
"My wife (US citizen), my son (US citizen) and mother in law (Indian citizen, 82 years) were traveling from Bengaluru to Seattle via Singapore (Singapore Airlines)," the Reddit user wrote.
