CHENNAI, Sept. 18 -- Tamil Nadu chief minister C Joseph Vijay has successfully concluded his first visit to the United Kingdom after assuming office and returned to Chennai on Thursday, securing investment commitments worth Rs.15,300 crore, achieving its goal of positioning the state as a top destination for investment and industrial growth, the state government said.
