India, March 7 -- Mohammad Fathali, Iran's ambassador to India, on Saturday said the Iranian people will not back down in the face of the ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel, declaring that they would either win or die trying.

"We, the people of Iran, clearly declare that on this path we will either achieve victory or reach martyrdom. For us, both are honour and happiness," Fathali said while speaking about the escalating military confrontation following US-Israel strikes on Iran, as per news agency ANI.
