India, April 2 -- LUCKNOW Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday accused the BJP of attempting to influence elections in various states in collusion with the Election Commission (EC) and asserted that his party is preparing to counter such "conspiracies" to establish a "PDA government" in Uttar Pradesh.

During a key meeting with party leaders, he reminded his cadre that the 2027 UP polls are a "do or die" mission to safeguard democracy and the Constitution and vowed to oust the BJP.
