India, Aug. 12 -- US President Donald Trump on Wednesday claimed America had "total control" over the Strait of Hormuz, while saying there was "nothing Iran can do about it."

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said that the US "will keep" the strait, adding that their naval blockade was being called "A Wall of Steel."

"The USA has total control over the Strait of Hormuz. I THINK WE WILL KEEP IT! Our Naval Blockade is being called, by everyone, "A WALL OF STEEL," and there is nothing Iran can do about it," the US President said.

In his post, Trump alleged that Iran had "no navy" and "no air force", further claiming that their leadership was "uncertain."
