New Delhi, Sept. 29 -- A 44-year-old man, whom Delhi Police dubbed "Mr Natwarlal" for frequently changing his identities and impersonating influential people, has been arrested for allegedly cheating a Delhi businessman of Rs.1.69 lakh by posing as the spouse of a prominent politician, police said.
Bhalinder Pal Singh is wanted in 25 cases of cheating and impersonation.
"His modus operandi was to project himself as an influential person and use the identity to extract money from people by claiming that their licences, permits or other work could be affected," said DCP (Dwarka) Kushal Pal Singh.htc
