India, Aug. 8 -- A married couple was allegedly denied entry to a restaurant in Delhi's Pitampura for showing up wearing Indian attire, an incident which took place on August 3 but has now prompted chief minister Rekha Gupta to order an investigation.

The alleged incident took place at a restaurant on the Pitampura metro premises on August 3.

In the purported videos of the incident doing the rounds on social media, a man in a T-shirt, accompanied by a woman in a 'kurta-salwar,' can be seen complaining about allegedly being denied entry for wearing Indian clothing to the restaurant, ''Tubata'.
