New Delhi, Aug. 5 -- Union labour and employment minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Tuesday said India is doing well on the economic front and has a better employment rate as compared to other countries. Mandaviya, who also holds the sports and youth affairs portfolio, was giving a presentation on government's intervention in the sectors during the parliamentary party meeting of the NDA lawmakers. The meeting called "Mangal Milan" which was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, came a day after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) suffered electoral setbacks in the bypolls in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
