India, Aug. 7 -- Employee morale at Meta appears to have hit rock bottom after a series of mass layoffs over the last couple of years. The company's last round of "performance-based layoffs" left nearly 3,600 people without a job. Coupled with internal restructuring pushing employees involuntarily to work in its new Applied AI division, more and more employees are voicing their dissatisfaction.

An example of how low the morale at Meta is can be gathered by an employee's post. Sharing the post anonymously on Blind, the Meta employee said she can't plan on having children due to the constant fear of layoffs.
