India, Sept. 20 -- A Hyderabad-based AI engineer has shared his experience of working at a company where he says language became a barrier to his professional growth. He claimed that most of his colleagues spoke Hindi, Bengali or Bangla, while he was not comfortable speaking or understanding Hindi. He said the situation eventually left him considering quitting the job.

The engineer, who said he has three years of experience in AI engineering, shared his account on Reddit. He claimed that he joined a North India-based company as a Senior AI/ML Engineer and initially enjoyed working on architectures, large language models and other AI projects.
