'Govt is scared': Leaders criticise curbs in Capital
New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- Union minister Chirag Paswan and Opposition leaders on Friday criticised the cancellation of trains and closure of metro stations in Delhi ahead of a student protest at Jantar Mantar on Saturday against CEC Gyanesh Kumar, with Congress leader KC Venugopal alleging an "undeclared emergency" in the capital and the Trinamool Congress asking why the Centre was "so scared of its own people".
"These are the youth of India, nothing can stop them... how many trains can anyone really stop? How much connectivity can be blocked? How many roads can be jammed?" NDA ally Paswan asked.
