New Delhi, June 25 -- The Capital on Wednesday found no respite from heat as the "feels like" temperature peaked at 45.8 degrees Celsius (degC) at 5.30pm, according to India Meteorological Department (IMD), despite squally winds enveloping the city and leading to sharp temperature drops across multiple weather stations a day earlier. With a yellow alert for rain, thunderstorm and strong winds issued in the morning falling flat, a maximum temperature of 39.3deg and humidity of 28% to 92% led to an uncomfortable warm day. The "real feel" temperature increased steadily, from 42.4degC at 11.30am, and 43.9degC at 2.30pm, to peak in the evening.
