'fbi chief hands out whiskey to staff, civilians during meetings'
New Delhi, May 8 -- FBI director Kash Patel hands out personalised branded bottles of bourbon whiskey to agency staffers and civilians during meetings, The Atlantic has reported.
The personalised bottles of Kentucky distillery Woodford Reserve are engraved with the words "Kash Patel FBI Director", and an FBI insignia. In some cases, the 750-millilitre bottles bear Patel's signature, with "#9".
One of these whiskey bottles was up for an online auction, and The Atlantic purchased it. The person who sold it did not want to be identified. However, the person said that the booze was a gift from Patel at an event in Las Vegas.
Patel has apparently distributed these bottles during official business trips, including at one FBI event.
