'Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V': Pakistan govt gets trolled for posting draft release on junk bond sale
India, Sept. 3 -- As Pakistan's economy continues to struggle, it reportedly raised a record $3 billion from a junk bond sale after securing credit rating upgrades. And when Pakistan's finance ministry shared this important update on social media, it turned out to be a field day for trolls because it had shared draft releases.
The first and the opening line of the release read: "Not for release, publication or distribution in, or, into, the United States, Australia, Canada or Japan."
While many people commented on the post making remarks about Pakistan's faulty economy, some were quick to point out that the post had been published with embargo instructions intact.
