India, Aug. 8 -- The Congress on Saturday accused the BJP and the Uttar Pradesh government of trying to sabotage party leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' event in Prayagraj.

Sharing a video in which a man can be seen alleging that sewage water was being let out of the drain, the Congress in a post on X said, "The BJP government is resorting to every possible tactic to stop the people-but Rahul Gandhi ji and our young comrades are not going to stop."

Congress MP KC Venugopal shared Congress' post and accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Yogi Adityanath of releasing sewage water to sabotage the event.
