India, Aug. 22 -- As the Cockroach Janta Party turned its focus to the condition of government-run schools in Rajasthan, the state government informed the Assembly on Friday that as many as 611 schools are functioning without their own buildings.

Highlighting the lack of proper infrastructure in schools, Rajasthan's BJP government shifted the blame on the previous government led by Congress under chief minister Ashok Gehlot, India Today reported.
