India, Sept. 19 -- Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang renewed his pushback against AI doomsday scenarios, saying in an interview that the technology doesn't pose an extinction risk to humanity.

According to Huang, there is a "0 per cent chance" that AI brings about the end of the world, as predicted by some industry experts.

"However it's characterised, 2030 is not going to be the end of the world. There is a 0 per cent chance it's going to be the end of the world," Huang said in an interview with CBS News that will be aired on Sunday.
