Mapusa, Oct. 16 -- The Zonal Agriculture Office (ZAO), Mapusa, in collaboration with ATMA North Goa, organised a workshop and competition on floriculture and traditional Goan Phati making to promote women's empowerment, agricultural skills and the preservation of Goa's cultural heritage.

The programme was held in the presence of chief guest Delilah Lobo, MLA of Siolim constituency and vice-chairperson of the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG).

The workshop introduced participants to modern floriculture practices, including cultivation techniques, soil management and disease control, with the aim of improving flower quality and productivity.
