Goa, April 7 -- A group of youths, claiming to be victims of an alleged overseas job scam, approached the Margao Police Station to lodge a formal complaint against an agent who had promised them employment abroad.

Accompanied by a local activist, the complainants alleged that the agent collected money from them during the recruitment process but failed to secure the promised jobs.

The youths have demanded a full refund of the amounts paid and urged authorities to take strict action against the accused.

Police are expected to examine the complaint and initiate further investigation into the matter.
