Goa, Oct. 27 -- The Directorate of Official Language, in collaboration with the Directorate of Art and Culture, organised a one-day workshop on Basic Konkani Language Proficiency in Panaji to help candidates prepare for the compulsory Konkani paper in GSSC and GPSC examinations.

The workshop was inaugurated by Punam Bharne and attracted more than 85 participants seeking to strengthen their Konkani language skills ahead of the examinations.

Resource persons, including Nagesh Pap Sardesai, guided participants through key aspects of the language, covering grammar, vocabulary, proverbs and idioms. The sessions also included discussions on sample question papers to familiarise candidates with the examination format.
