Raia, Oct. 26 -- Maina Curtorim Police have registered a case under Section 140(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) following a complaint about a woman who went missing from Bacbhat, Raia, on October 24.

According to the complaint, the woman had been working as a full-time domestic helper at a residence in the area for the past seven to eight months.

The complainant was reportedly informed by the employer's wife that the woman had left the house at around 6.30 am without informing anyone.

Despite searches, the woman could not be traced. The complaint subsequently raised suspicion that she may have been abducted by unknown persons.
