Goa, July 14 -- Traffic came to a standstill in Mapusa after a woman allegedly abandoned her damaged car in the middle of the road near Greenpark Hotel and walked away, causing severe congestion. The incident led to a long queue of vehicles stretching from Bodgeshwar Temple to Greenpark Junction, inconveniencing hundreds of commuters. Eyewitnesses claimed the woman appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and allegedly said she had crashed the vehicle at another location before reaching Greenpark. She reportedly left the damaged vehicle unattended and walked away from the scene. Police later reached the spot, removed the obstruction and restored traffic movement.
