Goa, May 20 -- A major accident was reported on the Bethoda bypass road in Goa after a wild Gaur suddenly leapt onto a moving car, causing extensive damage to the vehicle.

According to sources, the impact of the collision left the car badly damaged and triggered panic among commuters travelling through the area. Despite the severity of the accident, all occupants inside the vehicle escaped unhurt.

The incident has once again highlighted growing concerns over wildlife movement along roads that pass through forested and ecologically sensitive zones.

Further details regarding the condition of the animal and any police or forest department action are still awaited.
