Goa, Aug. 17 -- Barcelona have reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign Spain midfielder Rodri, in a major move that will see the experienced midfielder return to La Liga. The Catalan club are set to bring the World Cup winner to Camp Nou after agreeing a package worth up to €76.5 million with the Premier League champions.

According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, Barcelona will pay an initial €60 million for the midfielder, with the remaining amount coming through performance-related and other add-ons. Of those bonuses, €11 million are considered "highly achievable", meaning Manchester City are expected to receive at least €71.5 million from the transfer.
