India, March 20 -- Amid a rise in acute diarrhoeal cases in Dabolim, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane assured that the situation is under "active surveillance," with multiple agencies working on the ground to contain the outbreak. The spike in cases has raised concerns among residents, prompting swift intervention by state health authorities.

Rane said coordinated action has been initiated involving teams from the DHS, SDH Chicalim, and PHC Cortalim, along with support from the FDA and PWD. Authorities have intensified house-to-house surveillance, inspecting water sources and surrounding areas to identify possible contamination points.
