Goa, June 16 -- Water Resources Minister Subhash Phal Dessai has appealed to people across Goa to use water judiciously and avoid unnecessary wastage, stressing that water conservation is a shared responsibility.

The minister urged households, educational institutions, commercial establishments and businesses to adopt responsible water-use practices to ensure the continued availability of drinking water and other essential water resources. He emphasized that every citizen has an important role in safeguarding the state's water resources through sustainable consumption habits.
