Goa, Aug. 1 -- A police sniffer dog named Rocky became the unexpected star of a ceremonial event in Chennai after greeting Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay with a basket of flowers, creating a heartwarming moment that has since gone viral on social media.

The touching incident took place during a state ceremony on Friday, where the Chief Minister presented Government of India and Tamil Nadu Police medals to police personnel for the years 2023, 2024 and 2025. The event also included a ceremonial guard of honour in recognition of the police force's service and achievements.
