India, March 11 -- Warren Alemao has expressed concern for Goans living in the Middle East amid the ongoing conflict in the region and offered to help facilitate arrangements to bring stranded residents back to Goa if required.

In a statement, Alemao said many Goan families are worried about the safety of their relatives working in war-affected areas of the Middle East, with families in Goa anxiously awaiting news about their well-being.He said he is prepared to take the initiative, in coordination with the Government of Goa, to help organise the safe return of Goans who may wish to come back home during the current crisis.
