Goa, Oct. 4 -- Aaryavir Sehwag, son of former India opener Virender Sehwag, has been handed a major leadership responsibility after being named captain of the Delhi U-19 team for the 2026-27 Vinoo Mankad Trophy One-Day Tournament.

The 18-year-old batter's appointment comes shortly after he made his India U-19 debut in the three-match Youth ODI series against Australia U-19. India completed a 3-0 series sweep, with Aaryavir contributing scores of 28, 47 and 34 across the three matches in Rajkot.
