Goa, Oct. 23 -- Maharashtra left-arm spinner Vicky Ostwal made a significant impact in his team's Ranji Trophy campaign, claiming five wickets in the second innings to help secure a 127-run victory over Services in Delhi.

Ostwal returned figures of 5/50 as Services were bowled out for 120 while chasing a target of 268. His performance underlined his growing influence in the Maharashtra setup as he looks to build on an encouraging previous season.

The spinner had claimed 23 wickets at an average of 23.39 during the 2025/26 season, finishing as Maharashtra's second-highest wicket-taker. Despite those numbers, Ostwal believes there is room for improvement and is determined to contribute more consistently to the team's success.
