Goa, May 30 -- Goa Forward Party (GFP) President and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai on Saturday organised the third free eye check-up and eyeglasses distribution camp, using the occasion to stress the need for Goans to have a "clear vision" of the direction in which the state is heading.

Addressing attendees at the camp, Sardesai said the initiative was not only aimed at improving eyesight but also symbolised the need for people to clearly understand the challenges facing Goa.

"Goans need clear vision to see where our state is heading," he said, while highlighting issues concerning the future of the state and its people.
