Goa, June 11 -- Veteran tiatrist Tito Mathias Estaphania Pretto, pop ularly known as Titta Preto, passed away on Tuesday, bringing the cur tains down on one of the most illus trious careers in Konkani theatre. Born in Aldo na on January 4, 1933, Titta Preto dedicat ed nearly sev en decades to the tiatr stage and was widely regarded as one of the finest actors and comedians in Konkani theatre. He began his the atrical journey in Mumbai at the age of 15 and went on to feature in thou sands of tiatrs staged across Goa, Mumbai and overseas.
