Goa, June 16 -- Verna Police have registered two separate First Information Reports (FIRs) following complaints filed by the mothers of two minor girls who were allegedly kidnapped from their lawful guardianship in Quelossim, Cortalim.

According to police, the two incidents were reported on June 13 and June 14, respectively, after the minors were found to be missing from their homes.

Cases have been registered against unknown persons under the relevant provisions of law, and investigations have been initiated to trace the girls and identify those responsible.

Police are pursuing all available leads, and further investigation into both cases is currently underway.
