Goa, June 26 -- Verna Police have registered a case against a 24-year-old resident of Cortalim under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the Goa Children's Act, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for the alleged repeated sexual assault, blackmail, and exploitation of a minor.

According to police, the accused allegedly subjected the minor to repeated sexual abuse over a period of more than two years while also blackmailing and exploiting the victim.
