Goa, Oct. 9 -- Velsao villag ers are opposing the Cen tre's fresh proposal to ac quire 397 square metres across eight land parcels for the Hospet-Hubli-Tin aighat-Vasco railway dou bling project, with Goen cho Ekvott (GE) terming the move "piecemeal" and questioning the manner in which land for the project continues to be acquired. The notification gives in terested persons 30 days from its publication in the Of ficial Gazette to submit writ ten objections to the Deputy Collector, Mormugao.
