Goa, Sept. 7 -- Retired and serving teachers from Velsao were honoured at a grand Teachers' Day felicitation programme held at VP Velsao Hall on Sunday, recognising their dedicated service and lasting contribution to society.

The programme was organised by Velsao-Pale Assolcorcin Panch Member Jim D'Souza under the guidance of social worker Roquezinho D'Souza.

Several teachers were felicitated for their valuable role in educating and guiding generations of students. The organisers highlighted that a teacher's influence extends well beyond the classroom, with educators playing an important role in inspiring young minds, building character and instilling strong values.
