Velsao Access Issue: Anthon Vas Calls for Dialogue, Says Demand Is Genuine
Goa, Aug. 28 -- Cortalim MLA Anthon Vas, along with social worker Roquizinho D'Souza and railway officials, conducted an inspection of the access issue at Velsao on Thursday and called for a fact-based dialogue among all stakeholders.
Questioning those criticising his stand on the issue, Vas said people should not be misled by bringing unrelated matters into the discussion.
"Why misguide people? Let's talk about the access issue, which is genuine. Don't bring the double-tracking issue in between," Vas said.
The Cortalim MLA maintained that he too believes the demand for access is genuine and should be fulfilled. However, he stressed that a lasting solution can only be found when all stakeholders come together and discuss the matter.
