Goa, June 12 -- Vasco MLA Krishna V. Salkar inaugurated drainage improvement and paver block laying works in Ward No. 11 in the presence of local residents and BJP karyakartas, marking the commencement of infrastructure development aimed at enhancing public amenities in the area.

Speaking on the occasion, Salkar said the project has been undertaken to strengthen the existing drainage system and provide improved pedestrian infrastructure for residents.

He noted that the current drainage network required urgent attention, especially with the onset of the monsoon season. The ongoing improvement works are expected to facilitate the smooth flow of rainwater and significantly reduce the risk of waterlogging in the locality.
