Goa, June 9 -- Vasco MLA Krishna V. Salkar on Tuesday inaugurated the construction of a cross drain near the SAG Ground in Vasco, marking the beginning of a project aimed at improving the area's drainage infrastructure and preventing waterlogging during the monsoon.

Speaking at the inauguration, Salkar said the cross drain will facilitate the smooth flow of rainwater and help resolve long-standing drainage issues that have affected local residents for years.
