Vasco, Sept. 11 -- Vasco MLA Krishna Daji Salkar inspected the visarjan site at Kharewado in Vasco ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi to review preparations for the upcoming festival.

During the inspection, Salkar took stock of the arrangements being made at the immersion site and reviewed the facilities being put in place for devotees.

The inspection focused on ensuring safety, cleanliness and smooth movement of devotees and vehicles, along with effective management of the immersion process.

The MLA also assessed whether the necessary arrangements were in place to facilitate the smooth and orderly conduct of Ganesh idol immersions during the festive period.
