Goa, June 15 -- A late-night assault incident has been reported from the Bogmalo Road area in Dabolim, where a Vasco resident was allegedly attacked by a group of unidentified individuals.

According to Vasco Police, the incident occurred at around 10 pm on June 13. The complainant, identified as Sudarshan from Alto Vaddem, alleged that he was confronted by a group of seven to eight persons.

Police said the accused allegedly abused and physically assaulted him, causing injuries to his back and neck. Following the complaint, Vasco Police registered a case against the unknown assailants under the relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
