Goa, June 6 -- Valpoi Police have apprehended a kidnapping accused wanted by the Singhaul Police Station in Bihar and successfully rescued the victim during the operation.

The accused, identified as Mithun Kumar, was wanted in connection with Crime No. 124/2026 registered under Sections 96, 137(2), and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for an alleged kidnapping case.

Following the arrest, the rescued victim and the accused were handed over to the Bihar Police from Singhaul Police Station for further legal proceedings and investigation.

The coordinated operation highlights the effective cooperation between Goa and Bihar police authorities in tracking down wanted suspects and ensuring the safe recovery of victims.
