PANAJI, Oct. 21 -- The meeting between United Tribal Associations Alliance (UTTA) leaders and Goa's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), scheduled to discuss the status of Scheduled Tribe (ST) reservation in the Goa Legislative Assembly, has been postponed to 2.30 pm.

The meeting was deferred as the CEO was unavailable at the scheduled time. UTTA leaders are seeking an update on the progress of the demand for ST reservation in the state Assembly.

The meeting is expected to provide an opportunity for the delegation to seek clarity on the status of the reservation issue and the steps being taken towards its implementation.
